"Maize and peach and pepper boilies. Get them from Pascale and you won't go far wrong. Fish love the back of the island so always find a spot you can fish to there. The fish will eat as much as you can throw at them when they are feeding. Start with small amounts and then build up if you are catching. Other than that fish like you would any other lake full of 30's & 40's. Oh plus a few 50's and 60's!! Lol"

"We had quite a good week on our trip the end of August - 24 fish with 15 carp and 9 cats - no PB's this time but some nice fish. The biggest cat being 58lb & the biggest carp a 34lb common. I have attached a few photo's.

As ever it was wonderful to see Pascale, Maxime and all the family - another great holiday!!"

"We went to the great lake for a week on sat the 27th of august.
I had fished traque before and had it off i had 39 fish in a week 10 over 30 one 40 and a 50. It was mental. But after seeing the great lake and the fish it held Ihad to get on there.
I knew that 1 fish would do and all the hard work paid off when 4 days in, I had this stunning 47.2 mirror. I was made up : it was good enough just being there but to catch a decent one when the fishing was so slow was special.
There were only 6 fish out that week and that was the biggest the other 4 people I went with all blanked which made it even more special

Please could you add our report and pictures to your blog.

Initially there were 7 on the Lake but with the threat of bad weather the two Dutch guys bailed out and went home on tuesday. We know they both had fish of over 40lb.

There was a father and son on the lake who were also catching well, unsure of exactly what they had, but they were very busy all week.

Our Party included me and my young son and my pal John and his non fishing girlfriend.

First visit to the complex, and was very impressed with the welcome, facilities and mostly the Fishing. Awesome, is the best description I could add. Been fishing in France for the last 10 years, this was the best by far. We had a fantastic week.

"Just a quick catch report for Saules for the week 27/8/11 - 3/9/11. Between the four of us we managed 52 fish including 9 twenties, 26 thirties, 16 forties, and one fifty at 59lb 8oz.
It was amazing, and we will definitely will be returning as soon as we can. Pascale you were a excellent host, and very welcoming and the pie and champagne went down a treat on the final night.
I've been to france 30 times and this by a long way was the best holiday i have been on.
