Martin Faulkner, had a great week apart from the rain and mud. Fishing was slow due to water temp. 8 runs in total but only 3 fish on the bank due to fishing at range (over 200yds)

Barn Owl Lake catch report : Mike, John and Brian fishing from 14 to 21/04/12

Despite the adverse windy, blustery and wet weather, Mike, John and Bryan enjoyed some good sport and caught some great fish.
 Fishing 5-6 hours per day they made contact with some good carp, sturgeon, grass carp, ghosties and the odd koi. Great company and we enjoyed some good meals in the process. We will put an album online shortly.

Etang de la Botte : Dave and Colin Ward feedback fishing from 07/04/12

"Dear All,

Dave Ward and Colin Ward (not brothers!) were also on the Alan Bickford Team at Etang de la Botte.

* Colin caught a 62lb Sturgeon, 44lb Common, a couple of 40lb's, x5 30lb and various 20lb's.

* Dave caught 42lb Common, 40lb Common, x4 30lbs, x6 20lb, a few mid doubles and a 17lb Cat Fish.

between the two of us we caught approx 37 fish. Here are some of the pictures of the best fish.

Despite torrential rain and severe gails the lads managed 16 fish to 45.12lb,and experienced a few lost fish due to hookpulls ,but well done lads for battling on in harsh conditions

We had 37, Westy had 14 biggest 44.6 den 11 biggest 43.7 and 17.6 koi , Luke had 1 35.2 And my self 11 , 43.7 biggest with a 4ft grass 33.3 :) .

Hope you are well. Just been looking at your blogspot for La Botte for the 5 teams on at 31st March. Ive attached some pics for team Stuart Bossons and Stuart. We caught an additional 4 on the last nite (1 cat for me and 3 carp for my dad) results are 7 Fish 2 x 30lb (1 leather 1 mirror), 1 x 25lb Common, 1 x 18lb Common 1 x 15lb Mirror, 2 x Cats 5ld and 6lb,

had a great time and looking forward to next year.

North Edens Lake: fishing from 31/03/12 to 07/04/12

"Again the last week or so has been very changeable in weather but we have worked very hard for our fish but the stamp has been outstanding to say the least,myself only fishing the nights with the odd few hrs in the morning with bryann and my 15 year old son conor covering me at the weekend so i could have a break and didn't he do well for a short session and a new p/best 49.08lb grassy.and bryann breaking his personal best several times and also knocking out a last night beast of 47.08lb
