14th - 21st May .
Alex , 18 fish - 10 x 20+lbs , 8 x 30+lbs , new PB for both Mirror(39lb 8oz) and Common (31lb 4oz).
Robert , 16 fish - 6 x 20+lbs , 7 x 30+lbs , 2 x 40+lbs and PB Mirror 56lb 4oz.
Wayne , 16 fish - 1x17lbs , 5x20+lbs , 8 x 30+lbs , 2 x 40+lbs .
Geoff , 8 fish - 2x20+lbs , 3x30+lbs , 2x40+lbs , 1xPB and lake record Common (58lbs 4oz).
A good week very hot at times , most fish out between midnight and 10am , maize worked well . Fish came from all over the lake , Dead mans bay produced the bigger fish and the Lake rcord came from the first bay swim 1 .... a fantastic week on a fantastic lake ... Alex ....."

"2 x 50's to 57lb04, 10 x 40's up to 49lb11, 14 x 30's, 14 x 20's, 2 doubles. Mainly all on cell to far margin. Great week will be back"

"Thank you it was my first time at the complex but certainly wont be the last.What was remarkable about my catch was i didnt fish the nights apart from the first and then i went down to 1 rod all week as i was absolutely exhausted and did not feel well. I missed a few fish and lost a few and at times could not even get a coffee as i was getting runs before i had got the baitboat back . I personally had 22 fish and my first 5 fish were 4 40s and a 50 incredible, well for me anyway.Only had 1 fish last few days as i felt so ill i didnt even try .My mate caught the animal that was biting our hairs off and giving constant runs at night not sure what its called but it was dealt with so i guess we have done the next anglers a huge favour."

Mr Max agerbeek has caught 50 fish on woodslake week commencing 7th may 2011. Biggest 42lb common, 30lb grass carp, biggest mirror 32lb, biggest 79lb.

Thank you very much for your feedback and photos. I especially appreciate the good atmosphere and assistance between anglers during that week. An I can imagine how it was a sport to do the photos on your own ;)

Just letting you know I had a fantastic time on La Botte. Having not fished over in france before the whole experience was brilliant. Didn’t catch as many as the other guys on the lake looking at James Vincents email and being pegged up nat to far from John and Julie Mcarthur who had an endless amount of fish I would have been happy with just one. Learn loads from john which helped me catch a 21lb Common on the Wednesday and 3 other fish on the final Friday – 25lb Common, a Massive 42lb Mirror and what I really wanted – a big cat of 52lb. With my biggest UK fish of a mere 16lb from my younger days you can imagine these fish were unbelievable.
Absolutely Brilliant and will definitely be coming back….

Weather was hot and most fish seemed to be landed between 06:00pm ~ 11:00am.
Would like to say a BIG thankyou to Pascale for a great weeks fishing, this really is one of the best complex's in France and we will be going back there for a few more years to come. Great fishing / lovley layed out lakes and one very special host x x x x x"
