"Hi Sandrine,
Just thought I would say we had a great time at Botte last week. The fishing was a little patchy but we still had some great one's.
A few cats at 60, 69 and about 20 carp to 32 pounds, then on the last evening I hooked into a big one (see attached) 106 pounds. What a fish...
Maxim looked after us really well as usual and the lake looked magnificent. I am sure we will be back again.

Bait used - MAize & plastic tip 9balanced baits, boilies) (cell 12-18mls (balanced pop ups)
Groundbait - very little at a time
very wet & cold all week but enjoyed the runs & bites when they came. Had some great fish as you can see - must keep your eyes on the water at all times
In total we had:
6 x 50 up to 55lb12 1/2
14 x 40 up to 48lb.00
33 x 30lb up to 28lb.12
12 x 20lb up to 29lb.12

Just no cleaning
mop for the shower as their was a pool of water gathering after every shower
Catch details : The Group had in total 46 fish but without
looking in the lodge book I cannot remember them all but their were 3 x 50’s up
to 58.08lb then some 40’s, 30’s and 20’s everyone broke their French Personal
Best and all went away happy and ready for next year on Traque again
Tactics and baits :
Maize and boilies were the main baits used
as we already knew maize was a good bait on Goncourt tactics were simple just
feed little and often with most bites coming in the morning

Just got back from saules and had a fantastic time, we
had 2 x 20, 7 x 30, 8 x 40 , 4 x 50 and a massive 64lb mirror caught by Dave Wills 2 hours before going home.
So looking forward to go back to such a great place in
